New Project 447 Milion Euro in Saranda
A project called “Lëkurësi” that envisages the construction of tourist hotels and residential villas received strategic investment status in November last year.
At the same meeting, the Strategic Investment Committee also approved the status for a Technological and Economic Development Zone (TEDA) in Xhafzotaj and extended the status deadline for another entity that is building between Palasa and Drimadhesi.
But what do the projects of the new strategists actually represent according to the data reported in the decisions made by the Committee?
The 447 million euro project in Lekurs
The “Lëkurës” project, which has as applicants the entities TDT & Partners sh.pk and TECHNO-ALB sh.pk, envisages the construction of a large tourist complex, which was located at ZK 8642, on a footprint with an area of 67,9 ha in the Lëkurës area, Saranda Municipality. The project envisaged the construction of hotel areas, residential areas and various services.
The first phase of the project envisages the construction of two 5* hotels, a residential area and a commercial area with a total area of 15 ha. The project, for the most part, includes components belonging to the tourism sector, such as a hotel, villas in the function of a hotel, service areas, bars and restaurants, as well as other relaxation and recreation services.
The investment value for the proposed full project is expected to be 447.1 million Euros and the number of employees is expected to be 150. For the first phase of the project, the entities have made available the documentation of the agreement with the owners for the development of the project on a private plot of land with an area of 15.1 ha.
